It has been a very successful week again for Team Sonntag! Not only are we able to implement our reading centers successfully, but we are now able to do the same with our math centers. The students love the different activities planned for them, which is why learning can be so much fun!

Reminders:

Now that the students are in more of a pattern with the procedures of the classroom and school, I have set up a Mystery Reader schedule. If I was given your email, I sent out a link to www.signupgenius.com. This is a website that I use to electronically have parents & family sign up for Mystery Reader. Once you sign up it will automatically inform me and it will send you a reminder email 2 days before your scheduled time. If you don't have an email address please let me know and I will set a date up for you.

Homework:

Parents, we are still having some trouble getting all of the students to complete their homework each night. The homework given is a way for the students to practice & reinforce the skills learned at school. It is very important that they are reading, practicing spelling, and completing their math problems each night. If you as a family are having difficulties assisting your child with their homework or there are other obligations that are making it difficult, please let me know so we can work something out.

August 19th - Early Release & Track Out!
