With quarter 1 coming to an end next Friday, there will be lost of important information going home next week.  Please be on the look out for Report cards and other related items that will discuss your child's progress so far this school year.  Students will receive grades in Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies from our classroom instruction & their performance thus far.  If you have any questions about the information you recieve, please let me know and we can set up a date and time to discuss it.  If you already missed our Quarter One conference over track out, send me a note or email and we can schedule one for you soon!

Also, please note the following:
On Tuesday, October 4, 2011 we will begin a school-wide Team Time. This intense, focused instructional time will be used to provide support for every student through remediation or enrichment activities based on students' needs. Team Time will take place from 9:20-9:50 on Tuesdays, Wednesday's, and Thursday's each week.

 Our new lunch time will be 11:30am!

Let’s Get Learning with 3rd Grade Field Trips

The 3rd Grade Team is gearing up for the field trip opportunities for the 2011-2012 school year! Students will flex their knowledge of the human body & grow their understanding of the plant life cycle by participating in 2 High Touch/High Tech (at school) field experiences! Students will reach for the stars as they explore objects in the sky at the planetarium!

Body Shop:        Tracks 1 & 2:    April 2nd (in school)      

Smarty Plants:   Tracks 1 & 2:    November  8th (in school)

Planetarium:      Tracks 1 & 2:    February  3rd
